The Legacy Fund is a partnership between the Sea to Sky Gondola and the BC Parks Foundation to ensure that the Sea to Sky region stays beautiful, clean and safe as more people are getting out to enjoy it.

Your contribution supports projects that improve stewardship, accessibility, experiences and safety in the region. By contributing, you are making sure the environment in this beautiful part of the world continues to survive and thrive even as more and more people like you are getting out to enjoy it.

What types of projects does the Sea to Sky Legacy Fund support?

The Sea to Sky Legacy Fund supports projects in four activity areas: stewardship, accessibility, experiences and safety. Specific projects are chosen annually. Examples include things like engaging visitors at trailheads and in parks, building and maintaining trails, wildlife research and search and rescue operations.

Which organizations does the Sea to Sky Legacy Fund sponsor?

The Sea to Sky Legacy Fund supports qualified non-profit organizations and First Nations in the Sea to Sky region. Specific organizations are selected each year based on their ability to produce results for the region.

What is considered the Sea to Sky region?

The Sea to Sky region, as it relates to the Sea to Sky Legacy Fund, is the area from Horseshoe Bay to Howe Sound, and up through Pemberton, BC.

No. The BC Parks Foundation is an independent charitable organization. As you ride the Sea to Sky Gondola, you fly over Stawamus Chief and Shannon Falls Provincial Parks. Murrin Provincial Park is to the south, Brackendale Eagles to the north-west and Garibaldi to the north-east. Loyal customers like you are the reason why we will be able to enhance the stewardship, accessibility and safety of these and the many other parks in the Sea to Sky Corridor.
