Our Front of House Supervisors play a key leadership role, partnering closely with our Food & Beverage Manager and the FOH team to deliver unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll help build a high‑performing team, uphold exceptional service standards, and ensure every visit feels seamless and memorable.

- Lead and inspire the Food & Beverage team—training, coaching, and supporting them to deliver outstanding guest experiences every day.
- Champion our sustainability culture by driving waste‑reduction, recycling, and composting initiatives that engage both staff and guests.
- Grow your team through meaningful feedback, regular check‑ins, performance reviews, and supportive coaching conversations.
- Bring events to life by collaborating with our Catering & Events team to ensure seamless Summit Lodge experiences.
- Keep operations sharp through Food Safe compliance, temperature checks, stock rotation, and best‑in‑class food‑handling practices.
- Own inventory management—maintaining par levels, monitoring stock, and placing supplier orders that keep the team running smoothly.
- Create memorable guest moments by remaining calm, professional, and solution‑focused, even under pressure.
- Support frontline excellence—jump behind the bar, serve guests, bus tables, or help at the tills whenever needed.
- Set your team up for success by leading energizing pre‑shift meetings and contributing to departmental planning.
- Promote a safety‑first culture through daily awareness, adherence to WorkSafeBC and S2SG safety standards, and proactive issue reporting.
- Help build our team by participating in interviews and reference checks.
- Drive smart scheduling—staffing outlets effectively, adjusting labor as business levels change, and ensuring great coverage.
- Ensure full compliance with food and liquor regulations.
- Actively lead shifts, supporting senior leadership and working toward budget goals.
- Boost revenue by championing our upselling program and motivating staff to hit daily and weekly targets.
- Build team culture by collaborating on engagement and appreciation initiatives.
- Jump in wherever needed—flexibility is key in our dynamic mountain environment!
Skills and Experience:
- Serving It Right (required); Food Safe Level 1 an asset
- Minimum age: 19
- 1+ year leadership experience in food & beverage
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and team‑leadership skills
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient with MS Office; POS experience (RTP an asset)
- Bartending experience and ability to work behind a busy bar
- Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, and stress‑management skills
- Knowledge of food service operations and cost controls
- Passion for people and the outdoors
- Hospitality education an asset
- Able to stand up to 10 hours and lift 20 lbs regularly
- Clear Criminal Record Check
