As a Barista/Cashier, you'll welcome guests from around the world while serving specialty coffees, café-style meals, and fresh baked goods. Whether you're crafting the perfect latte, sharing local recommendations, or creating a memorable guest interaction, you'll play an important role in making every visit special.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees made to order
- Serve café-style meals and accurately process guest orders using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Create memorable guest experiences through friendly, authentic, and engaging interactions
- Maintain clean, welcoming dining and service areas
- Restock and rotate food, beverages, condiments, and retail displays to ensure quality and presentation standards are maintained
- Support daily operations across indoor and outdoor guest service areas
- Assist with opening, closing, and ongoing setup of lodge, patio, and dining spaces
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times
- Support company sustainability initiatives by following recycling, composting, and waste-reduction practices
- Contribute to company sustainability goals by reducing waste, conserving resources, and encouraging environmentally responsible practices
- Uphold our value of "Safety Starts With Us" by following all health and safety requirements, participating in the Sea to Sky Gondola safety program, and promptly reporting hazards, incidents, or concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Serving It Right Certification (required)
- Minimum age of 19 years in accordance with provincial service regulations
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized during busy periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute as part of a team
- Previous cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience is an asset
- Previous café, restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience is an asset
- Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanour
- Appreciation for the outdoors and enthusiasm for sharing the Sea to Sky Gondola experience with guests
- Criminal Record Check required
