Our Baristas/Cashiers bring our locally inspired food and beverages to life for guests from around the world. Whether you’re hand‑crafting specialty coffees, showcasing freshly baked pastries, or sharing friendly conversations with visitors from all walks of life, you’ll help create lasting memories—all with breathtaking views of Howe Sound as your backdrop. This role offers great variety, giving you the chance to work both indoors and outdoors and gain valuable experience across multiple outlets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages made to order
- Serve café‑style meals and accurately enter orders using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and welcoming dining area by bussing dishes and wiping down counters and tables
- Restock and rotate condiments, display racks, and coolers to ensure all food and beverages are fresh, appealing, and well‑presented
- Support sustainability initiatives by following recycling and composting procedures
- Interact with guests in a friendly and engaging manner to enhance their overall experience
- Set up all lodge areas for daily operations, including indoor and outdoor/patio spaces
- Support company sustainability goals by reducing waste, conserving energy, and promoting engagement among team members and guests
- Uphold our value of “Safety Starts With Us” by following all health and safety regulations, participating in the Sea to Sky Gondola safety program, and reporting incidents or unsafe conditions promptly
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Front of House leadership team
Required Skills and Experience:
- Serving It Right certification (mandatory)
- Minimum age of 19, in accordance with provincial service regulations
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests
- POS (point‑of‑sale) experience is an asset
- Knowledge of food preparation and hot/cold beverage service is an asset
- Mature, friendly, and professional demeanor with a well‑groomed appearance
- Criminal Record Check required
