The Sea to Sky Gondola has a variety of activities that will accommodate all the needs of your group and provide fabulous memories for years to come. Our Group Sales Team will work with you to ensure a seamless experience from the booking to your arrival and departure.

Group rates are available for parties of 15 or more visiting for the same purpose. Bookings and payment is required at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.

The Summit of the Sea to Sky Gondola offers access to a variety of scenic trails. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides can lead your group on immersive nature walks, combining breathtaking vistas with engaging educational excursions that explore the region’s unique flora and fauna.

SPIRIT TRAIL
Difficulty: Beginner
Duration: 20 minutes
Distance: 400 metres
Elevation Gain: 15 m
Seasonality: Year-Round

This trail takes you on a cultural journey through the history of the land and First Nations people. The wide, easy trail offers breathtaking views of Atl’ka7tsem/ Howe Sound, and Goat Ridge. The Spirit Trail can be accessed in two ways, from the Backyard Plaza, and from the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge. Stroller accessible.

PANORAMA TRAIL
Difficulty: Beginner
Duration: 30-60 minutes
Distance: 1.3km
Elevation Gain: 30 m
Seasonality: Year-Round

This 1.3km loop takes you through coastal forest, Alaskan blueberry bushes, and granite outcroppings. Viewpoints with handcrafted cedar benches dot the trail for rest with a view. The Panorama Loop has an easy elevation grade of approximately 8-10%, allowing most people of all ages and fitness levels to complete it in under an hour. Halfway through the trail is the Chief Overlook Viewing Platform: a cantilevered deck that juts out over a sheer drop and offers majestic views of the ocean and surrounding mountains.

ALPINE ALLEY
Difficulty: Kids’ Adventure Trail
Duration: 30-45 minutes

An awesome alpine adventure to summit Bodhi’s Boulder! Along the way you will travel through the homes of seven alpine animals, discovering a climbling wall, a tunnel, a slide, a bear den and 2 Via Ferrata ladders! Explore this kid-approved trail at your own pace. Open as conditions permit.

WONDERLAND LAKE LOOP
Difficulty: Beginner/ Intermediate
Duration: 30-60 minutes
Distance: 1.6km return
Elevation Gain: 40 m
Seasonality: Year-Round
A trail of breathtaking views and a boardwalk around Wonderland Lake. The trail meanders along granite rock bluffs, open meadows and vibrant coastal forest. Several viewpoints are scattered along the trail offering great views of the Summit Lodge, Sky Pilot and Co-Pilot Mountains as well as Goat Ridge. Wonderland Lake is a small lake dotted with lily pads and surrounded by wildflowers and Alaskan Blueberry. The Wonderland Lake Loop provides a real glimpse into the rich flora and fauna of the local ecosystem.

SPARKY'S SPIN
Difficulty: Intermediate/ Advanced
Duration: 1-2 hours
Distance: 2.0 km
Elevation Gain: 140 m
Seasonality: Summer

Drop down into Sparky’s Spin and explore the route that our lift manufacturer, Doppelmayr, travelled to access tower locations during the construction of the gondola. This is a steeper, single-track trail for intermediate hikers. Enjoy a moderate downhill hike through the forest with views of Sky Pilot and Goat Ridge as well as peek-a-boo views of Howe Sound. The trail continues downhill under the gondola until the trail connects with the Upper Sea to Summit. Then, for the last kilometre, hike uphill to return to the Summit Lodge.

HIGHLINE TRAIL
Difficulty: Advanced
Duration: 30-45 minutes
Distance: 800m
Elevation Gain: 140 m
Seasonality: Summer

The Highline Trail starts with a brief, steep ascent leading to sweeping 360-degree views of Mount Garibaldi, Mount Habrich, Sky Pilot, and Howe Sound.

Ready for a winter adventure? Let our Summit Guides take your group on a scenic trek through nature! Choose to join us for a Daytime Forest Tour or an evening Headlamp Tour. Along the way, enjoy an interpretive tour and learn all about the local plants, animals, and natural surroundings. Enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate out on the trails.

Daytime Forest Tour: Wander through the wintry alpine forest on a daytime guided tour. Explore four trails and enjoy breathtaking winter viewpoints, with a hot chocolate break along the way. Offering terrain for every level—from first timers to seasoned adventurers.

Headlamp Tour: Experience pristine solitude by headlamp on a guided tour. Start in daylight, reach the lookout for hot chocolate, and return under the stars with a headlamp. As daylight hours change, this tour time may be adjusted to ensure a true nighttime experience.

Step into a world of quiet solitude, where the crisp mountain air, snow-laden forests, and stunning alpine views create a truly unforgettable adventure. The Sea to Sky Gondola region gets plenty of snowfall throughout the winter and offers a variety of terrain that’s perfect for both seasoned snowshoers and those new to the experience.

Snowshoe Rentals: $20 for 2 hours

Just a 5-minute walk from the Summit Lodge, next to the scenic Wonderland Lake Loop, the Tube Park offers classic sliding fun for all ages. Slide down the lanes and walk back up to go as many times as you like - within Tube Park hours. Whether you're racing down or taking it slow, it’s a great way to enjoy the snow and make some memories.

Grab a spot on the tube park viewing deck to enjoy the excitement and capture some great photos!

Cost: $5 ( including tube rental )

Embark on a thrilling 1-1.5 hr Via Ferrata adventure, where you'll climb ladder-like rungs, traverse exhilarating suspension bridges and soak in the scenic views of ocean fjiords and snow-capped peaks, all while securely attached to the rock face with fixed safety cables.
