Santa Photos at the SummitFAQ
All the details you need to plan a festive, memory-making visit with Santa at the Summit.
WHAT ARE THE EVENT DETAILS FOR PICTURES WITH SANTA?
Children of all ages are invited to join us for an opportunity to have your photos taken with Santa. While you’re here, visit Santa’s Workshop in the Diamond Head Room for crafts and festive fun.
Photo sessions will be reserved in timed slots, subject to availability. After your photo session, plan a walk along our beautifully decorated Spirit Trail, or enjoy food and beverage options at the Summit Lodge.
WHAT ARE THE HOURS AND DATES FOR SANTA PHOTOS?
Santa photos are offered on November 29, 30 and December 1, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Pre-booked sessions are available from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day.
If a time slot is sold out, it won’t appear for online booking. To see more date options, try selecting a different time slot.
HOW MUCH IS A PICTURE?
$30 for one digital photo
$40 for two digital photos
Guests require a gondola lift ticket or an Annual Membership to access the Summit for their Santa Photo. Photos are taken by Tara O’Grady.
CAN I USE MY IPHONE?
A professional photo purchase is required to help keep the line moving. You may take a quick phone photo during your session as long as it does not distract the photographer.
CAN I BOOK MY PHOTO IN ADVANCE?
Yes. Time slots can be reserved from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. within a 30-minute window. If your preferred date or time is not showing, it’s already sold out.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR THE PHOTOS?
All payments are processed online, after you select your time slot.
WHEN WILL I GET MY PICTURES?
Digital photos will be delivered via Dropbox from Tara O’Grady Photography within one week of your photo. Please check your inbox and spam/junk folders and avoid deleting the email. If you have not received your photo after one week, please contact Tara at .
DO I NEED A LIFT TICKET TO HAVE MY PHOTO TAKEN?
Yes, all guests require a gondola lift ticket or an Annual Membership. The photo set up is inside the Summit Lodge.
If you need to renew your annual membership, please allow an additional 10 minutes to your visit, before you take the gondola up.
IS PARKING INCLUDED?
Parking is free with an Annual Membership. Day pass holders may purchase parking for $8 (half day, up to 4 hours) or $10 (full day).
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO THE SUMMIT LODGE?
The gondola ride takes 10–15 minutes. Please allow enough time to ride up and arrive within your 30-minute photo window.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE SUMMIT LODGE?
Directional signage will guide you to the Santa Photos check-in desk, inside the Summit Lodge.
CAN I BRING FAMILY/FRIENDS WHO AREN’T IN THE PHOTO?
Yes. All visitors must have a gondola lift ticket or an Annual Membership to access the Summit Lodge, even if they are not participating in the photo.
WILL THERE BE OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR MY KIDS TO DO?
Yes. Holiday crafts take place in the Diamond Head Room, and the Spirit Trail is a decorated forest walk for the whole family. The trail is decorated daily until January 5. For additional activities, visit our Daily Conditions page: www.seatoskygondola.com/daily-conditions/
WILL THERE BE HOT FOOD AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE SUMMIT?
Yes. The Summit Lodge offers a selection of hot food, pastries, and seasonal treats.
