Mountain Music: Mazacote

Friday August 31

Mazacote is a West Coast Latin dance band playing horndriven New York salsa dura and beats from Colombia, Puerto Rico and Cuba. Based in Vancouver, the band features singersongwriter David Lopez, Latin jazz trumpeter Malcolm Aiken and a grooveheavy rhythm section featuring Chris Couto on timbales, Carlos Arias on baby bass and Niho Takase on keys.

This year's lineup offers a variety of genres ranging from Classic Rock, Indie Soul, Modern-Acoustic, Jazz, Folk Rock and World Fusion. By combining a summer-inspired barbeque menu, breathtaking sunsets and toe-tapping music our Summit Lodge patio is truly a unique setting for all to enjoy. Table reservations are not available in advance, it will be on a first come, first-served basis.
