Prep Your Body for Rise + ClimbStretch, Strengthen, and Show Up Ready
02 July, 2025
Rise + Climb is more than a Saturday morning hike—it’s a chance to connect, reset, and start your weekend with purpose. To enjoy the trail and recover well afterward, it helps to prepare your body as well as your mindset. That’s where intentional movement comes in.
This season, we’re helping you rise stronger and climb smarter with expert warm-ups, stretches, and recovery tips from Annie at Sacred Light Yoga. Whether it’s your first hike or your ninth summer with us, a few simple movements before, during, or after your hike can make a big difference.
Why Preparation Matters
Hiking engages your whole body—legs, hips, spine, and shoulders. Without warm-up, tightness and fatigue can build. That’s why we’ve partnered with Annie, a certified yoga therapist with more than a decade of experience helping people move mindfully in nature.
In our new YouTube video, Annie shares her go-to warm-ups and post-hike stretches. just five minutes of movement can improve your experience, ease tension, and support faster recovery.
