Lindsay Leathem appointed to position of Sales Business Development Manager

Squamish, B.C. – Sea to Sky Gondola announced the appointment of Lindsay Leathem as a contractor for the position of Sales Business Development Manager. Lindsay joined to the Sea to Sky Gondola team in August of 2013 with a wealth of sales and marketing experience in sports and tourism. Most recently she was with Whistler Blackcomb where she held various roles that included the execution of group events and leisure sales account management on the International Sales Team. Lindsay also worked on the Strategic Alliances and Event Marketing team where she was accountable for the management and sales of corporate partnerships and for the planning and execution of corporate sponsored events. These roles saw her through to the launch of the Peak2Peak Gondola, the 2010 Olympic Winter Games and beyond.

The Travel trade, tour industry and event sales for the Sea to Sky Gondola are critical components of the business plan and significant to the community at large. “Lindsay is proving out the markets, establishing the relationships, strategies and the on-the-ground support processes to ensure that we create opportunities for success thru long term, strengthened relationships with our key partners”, said Jayson Faulkner, GM of the project.

Her experience in the travel trade, sponsorship/strategic partnerships and events ensure that she brings an insight and perspective to the project that allows these key relationships to mature faster. Lindsay joins an exceptional team of marketing and sales professionals, management and operations.
