From sweeping mountain views to an unforgettable celebration above Howe Sound, M & A’s wedding day was the perfect reflection of everything that makes a Sea to Sky Gondola wedding so special. Thoughtfully planned and full of personal touches, their day blended natural beauty with an elevated guest experience, creating moments that felt both effortless and unforgettable.

They booked the venue before even visiting us after falling in love with photos they had seen online. When they eventually came to visit, they realized how special the venue is. A & M said "aside from the views (which are of course INCREDIBLE), the attention to detail and flexibility was greatly appreciated through our planning process, and the ease of communication left us feeling reassured".

The Wedding morning

The day began in Squamish, where M & A and their closest friends and family gathered to get ready. The excitement was palpable as final details came together, from carefully selected outfits to meaningful personal touches that made the day truly their own.

With the gondola just a short drive away, the transition from getting ready to the mountaintop celebration was seamless - setting the tone for a day that would flow effortlessly from start to finish.

The Ceremony

As guests made their way up the gondola, the experience truly began. Arriving at the Summit, they were welcomed by panoramic views of Howe Sound and the surrounding coastal mountains before making their way to the Spirit Trail Platform for the ceremony. The couple and their wedding party made their entrance along the forest trail before joining their guests for an emotional and heartfelt ceremony. As they were pronounced newlyweds, smiles, happy tears, and enthusiastic applause filled the space, marking the beginning of their next chapter together.

The reception

As guests made their way back across the suspension bridge to the Diamond Head Deck for cocktail hour. Along the way, friends and family shared congratulations, captured candid photos, and enjoyed the opportunity to connect before gathering to continue the festivities.

As the sun began to set over Howe Sound, guests took their seats inside the Diamond Head Room, decorated to reflect A & M's shared vision. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and memorable moments as family and friends shared stories and celebrated A & M's journey together. As dinner came to a close, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance, setting the tone for an unforgettable night. From energetic dance moves shared with carboard cut outs of their adrobale dogs, to packed dance floor moments, guests embraced the celebration and danced the night away. It was the perfect ending to a truly special wedding day.

Their Experience

"Our actual wedding day was amazing - don't be deterred by the venue being open to the public as well. We truly felt like we were in our own world and own space and could not have asked for a better day. Also - the food and menu were out of this world. Many of our guests have told us it was the best food that they have had not just at a wedding, but also best food in general! All in all, we could not have picked a better venue or group of suggested vendors. We wish we could relive our wedding day over and over, and the team at Sea to Sky Gondola played a huge role in that"
