Skyline Trail

The Skyline Trail travels up the centre ridge in the Upper Shannon Creek watershed. It is a reasonably direct line up to the alpine and along the ridge between Sky Pilot Massif and Goat Ridge. Spectacular views to the north face of Goat Ridge and across to the amazing granite dome of Mount Habrich as well as the dramatic alpine of Co-Pilot, Sky Pilot and Ledge Mountain. A classic trail offering big vistas, forests, meadows, alpine access and a lot more. Access via the Backcountry Access road staying right past the Sky Pilot Valley spur, across Shannon Creek and climb slowly staying left at the next fork as it climbs the west side of the ridge to gain the high ground. Great views, big forests and big terrain is what's in store for this backcountry snowshoe adventure.
