Visit Avalanche Canada and search 'Sea to Sky Gondola' for all of the details about our region. Zenith Guides have also published observations in the Squamish area.
The Sea to Sky Gondola has adopted a policy in which backcountry skis and snowboards will not be loaded on the gondola on days in which Avalanche Canada, in their public avalanche advisory deems our zone to be rated as 'high' or 'extreme'. Nordic skis will continue to be uploaded for use on the Backcountry Access Road from the gondola summit to Shannon Creek.

Panorama Trail | 99% snow free. Very good walking conditions. |
Wonderland Lake Loop | Some hard packed snow below the switchbacks. Snow is hard packed and will soften as the day progresses though expect some slippery sections. Possibility of post-holing if walking off the beaten trail. Microspikes recommended for guests without winter boots. Lake is partially frozen and not safe to walk on. |

Marginal winter walking due to likelyhood of sinking through (post-holing). Snowshoes or microspikes advised. Note that cellular reception is not dependable on this loop trail. |
