Kellie Zimmer appointed to position of Food and Beverage Manager

The Sea to Sky Gondola recently announced the appointment of Kellie Zimmer to the senior position of Food and Beverage Manager. Kellie is the successful candidate picked from an excellent group of applicants, most of who all came from the Sea to Sky corridor.

“Kellie comes to the position with a long background in Food and Beverage operations of all facets. She has directed quick serve operations, fine dining and catering food services. She has a history of success and as a Squamish resident is very keen to create a remarkable hospitality experience at the Summit Lodge and the other food and beverage outlets of our facility. “We are very pleased to have her join our Senior management team in this very important role” said Jayson Faulkner, General Manager.

Kellie Zimmer has over 25 years of impressive background in resort and mountain operations. Below is a short list of her background and experience:

  • Steeps Grill & Wine Bar Restaurant Manager (Whistler/Blackcomb)
  • Catering & Special Events Supervisor (Whistler/Blackcomb)
  • Furry Creek Golf Course – Serving and Catering 
  • Rendezvous/Christine’s/Horstman Hut Restaurant Manager (Whistler/Blackcomb)
  • Catering & Special Events Coordinator (Whistler/Blackcomb)
  • Hard Rock Café Whistler

Kellie will start her position next week. Sea to Sky Gondola will be adding more positions to its operations team and other departments in the coming months as we gear up for our grand opening in May.
